Concert Flooring & Pedestrian Walkway – Leonard Cohen Concert

The Challenge

When Leonard Cohen played Kilmainham on September 12th 2012, part of his 2012-2013 world tour, Event Trax were contracted to provide ground cover and pedestrian walkway for the walkways and spectator areas. The challenge was to provide and install concert flooring to cover an area of 7,300 sq. metres to protect the ground and  provide easy access for spectators.

Our Solution

We installed 7,300 sq. metres of Supa Trac flooring as this offers the best ground protection and can be used where the ground is uneven. The installation took about 12.5 hours from an 8am start but the job was completed in one long day. All panels were remove in a 7.5 hour period after the concert had finished. This was all achieved over uneven ground but the finished floor was stable and very flat.

The Outcome

The concert went like a dream and concert goers were able to move round the venue with easy.
